Lovely lovely

I had high expectations for Paris and it did not disappoint. It is just so madly beautiful. Everyone we talked to (or tried to talk to) was super friendly and were some of the best dressed, best looking people I have seen, darn them.
I was also pleased to see a lot of Breton stripes, and baguettes poking out of carry bags.
Loads more photos after the jump.

I am glad to hear such rave reviews because many others I have spoken to, only have negative things to say!

I hope to visit someday, and experience some of the wonder you did!

PS: Your skirts have been keeping me breezy all summer long!

We were there for 5 days a couple of years ago, one day I will go for two weeks! Aren't the people gorgeous, we were taking our daughter to the playgrounds and all the mums/nannies were so well dressed, red trench coats and boots and bags and perfect blouses and knitwear, I felt like such a slob!

Angela - yay I'm glad the skirts are doing their job. I had heard a lot of bad stories too so decided to just be smiley & friendly & it seemed to do the trick. Luckily, or there might have been some public crying :)

Greta - I know! They all have amazing effortless style and perfect shiny hair. Felt like such a crazy haired, boring clothes tourist. Next time there will be some Paris-worthy outfit planning before I pack my suitcase!

Oh Paris! Did you stuff yourself with macarons and other baked delights?

I did, way too many in hindsight, but totally worth it!
